The petrol filter will be close to the petrol tank, at the rear of the car on the underside. It is the same on other renault models too! There is a readout on the dash which indicates the oil level when you first turn on the ignition.
My sensor is going faulty though - and I like to check my oil level manually anyway.

For some unknown reason my Renault Scenic is telling me its low on oil, ive looked in the handbook but I dont know what sort of oil I should be putting. The petrol filter will be close to the petrol tank, at the rear of the car on the underside. Or a coil problem replace coil first those coil packs fail a lot if you wash you engine make sure not to get water on coil pack ,cover it.
